Dear Visitors and College Republicans alike, Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. The Truman Chapter of the College Republicans is a strong body of politically active young adults, constantly working towards the advancement of conservative values. I am proud to lead this new group into the 2007-2008 school year and excited for our involvement in upcoming 2008 elections. The College Republicans at Truman State University have consistently maintained a strong core of like-minded Republican students. At Truman State, we have well over 200 different extra and co-curricular organizations, but the College Republicans remain a strong and active voice on and off-campus. Our organization encompasses students from many different backgrounds and experiences and such a mixture serves to enrich the organization. Whether election year or not, it is important that our foundation remain strong. We meet once a week for organizational purposes. Throughout the year, we also have barbeques, fun nights, and the occasional fish fry. Every year, we attend the Missouri College Republicans State Convention, as well as Lincoln Days in February. During election years, we work hard as a group for Republicans and conservatives in Northeast and Central Missouri. Last fall, we frequented Macon, La Plata, Hannibal, Edina, and even Kirksville for the sake of campaign work. The College Republicans at Truman State play a vital role on campus and within the politics and development of the state of Missouri.
